Heart 4 City accepts Aetna, Optum/UnitedHealthcare commercial and individual plans, and self-pay for eligible behavioral health services.

Insurance accepted

Aetna and Optum/UnitedHealthcare commercial and individual plans are accepted. Benefits, network participation, deductibles, copayments, coinsurance, authorization requirements, and medical-necessity determinations vary by plan and are not guaranteed until confirmed by the payer.

Self-pay

Private-payment options are available. Session-rate information is discussed during consultation.

Superbills

Superbills are available upon request for clients seeking possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement is determined by the client’s insurance plan and is not guaranteed.

Individual Therapy

Support for anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional dysregulation, stress, low self-esteem, and life transitions.

May include: CBT, solution-focused work, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed interventions, mindfulness, and coping-skills training.

Couples Counseling

Structured support for trust concerns, recurring arguments, emotional distance, communication breakdowns, parenting disagreements, and relationship uncertainty.

Focus: communication, accountability, boundaries, conflict repair, and shared goals.

Family Therapy

Support for unhealthy interaction patterns, unclear roles, boundary concerns, parenting stress, conflict, grief, and family transitions.

May include: family systems, structural interventions, communication practice, and collaborative problem-solving.

Adolescent Counseling

Developmentally appropriate therapy for mood concerns, withdrawal, anger, behavior, identity, family conflict, school stress, and coping difficulties.

Caregiver involvement: incorporated when clinically appropriate and consistent with privacy and treatment needs.

Trauma & PTSD

Trauma-informed support that prioritizes safety, stabilization, emotional regulation, meaning-making, and recovery at a manageable pace.
